The Allendale Township board is expected to once again debate a controversial statue.
The statue is in the Veterans Garden of Honor at 68th Avenue and Lake Michigan Drive and it depicts a Confederate and Union solider standing back to back with a slave child at their feet.
Last summer, the board voted for the statue to stay.
However last month, a resident committee recommended the statue be removed and replaced.
