Many West Michigan school districts hold their graduation ceremonies in May and decided to stick with the normal schedule to move forward.
Rockford Public Schools Superintendent Michael Shibler says the last few months have felt like they have been whipsawed back and forth.
Rockford, Jenison and Holland public schools all moved forward with ceremonies in May.
Shibler says planning graduation is much more complicated than planning a party at someone's house.
