The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians says the long awaited Muskegon County casino project is getting close to the finish line.
They are transforming the Great Lakes Downs racetrack into a casino with 222 hotel rooms.
The $180 million has been stuck in limbo for the past 12 years waiting on federal approval.
Builders have not yet broken ground but the project recently gained federal approval.
