MI confirms over 2,200 cases of COVID

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in confirming 2,230 cases of COVID and 20 deaths.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 6.26 percent on Saturday and 5.68 percent on Sunday.

Officials consider community spread controlled when the positivity rate is under a three percent.

Kent County confirmed 206 cases and no new deaths over the weekend.
