MDHHS Relaxing Some Coronavirus Rules

LANSING (WOOD-AM) - Attendees of outdoor gatherings of fewer than 100 people will not be required to wear face masks.

That rule change will take effect Thursday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is lifting that rule.

The agency also says people who are fully vaccinated no longer have to wear masks during indoor gatherings.

As of Tuesday in Michigan, 50.6 percent of eligible residents have had at least one vaccine dose.
