PIERSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - After crashing his ATV in Montcalm County on Monday night, a 9-year-old boy was airlifted to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Michigan State Police say the boy was not wearing a helmet when he was thrown off his ATV on Stanton Road near Howard City.
It’s unclear what led to the crash, which state police say remains under investigation, and the boy is currently in critical condition.
