First vaccine clinic held on WMU campus

Western Michigan University held its first COVID-19 vaccination clinic on-campus on Wednesday.

Health officials administered 1,300 Pfizer vaccines to students, staff and faculty.

The clinic was originally planning to administer Johnson & Johnson vaccines and switched after the announcement from the FDA.

Several students say this was their first opportunity to get the vaccine as many other clinics are completely booked.
