KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - The widening of Interstate 94 to six lanes in Kalamazoo starts today.
The two-year project will add one lane in each direction from Lovers Lane to Sprinkle Road and rebuild the Portage Road interchange.
Michigan Department of Transportation crews will be working at night and on weekends.
