Spectrum Health's plan to expand into Grand Rapids' Belknap Lookout neighborhood is falling into place.
The Grand Rapids Planning Commission approved a permit for the hospital to build a parking lot and ramp for the proposed Center for Health Transformation and Innovation.
The new center would require over 1,200 employees.
The new center would consolidate leases for the health system and lower their rent costs.
