A man is in custody after he was pursued by police and crashed into a pole near Caledonia.
Officers attempted to arrest a 53-year-old man who then took off in a car around 5:30 p.m.
The man crashed into a pole near 76th Street and Kraft Avenue.
Troopers said the man had a knife and was threatening to harm himself.
He had ingested unknown drugs and was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
