The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 1,388 cases of COVID-19.
The state also confirmed 48 deaths, 30 of which were found during records checks.
State labs tested at a positivity rate of 2.89 percent on Wednesday.
Kent County recorded 96 cases and six deaths.
