A 5-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Georgetown township Thursday afternoon.
The girl was walking home from school with her 10-year-old brother when the incident happened.
The children were crossing 12th Avenue and did not see a car turning from Chicago Drive.
The boy was not hit by the car.
The girl was taken to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
