MI confirms almost 900 COVID-19 cases

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 888 cases of COVID-19.

The state also confirmed 85 deaths, of which 72 were discovered during routine death record checks.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 2.85 percent, which is the lowest since September 24.

Kent County recorded 71 cases of COVID-19 and four deaths.
