Signs of progress in COVID-19 vaccine rollout

While many who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine still struggle to find an appointment, the state is showing signs of progress in the accessibility of the shot.

On Monday, the state announced mortuary service workers are now eligible for the vaccine.

Food processing and agriculture workers will be eligible starting March 1.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services also announced over three dozen federally qualified health center that will not receive shipments of vaccines from the state.
