The Portage Department of Public Safety says the son of a missing Portage couple was found in the same area his mother's car was recovered.
Officials are searching for Gary and Laura Johnson.
Investigators say Gary's employer contacted them for a welfare check after her failed to log on for work several days in a row.
Officers found "signs of violence" on Tuesday when they arrived at the Johnson's home.
Twenty-seven-year-old Nicholas Alexander Johnson was arraigned on Wednesday for felony firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
