MI deaths linked to COVID-19 pass 14,000

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is announcing 148 deaths from COVID-19, 128 of which came from records checks.

The state also announced another 2,165 cases of the virus.

Michigan labs tested at a positivity rate of 4.88 percent, which is the lowest since October 15.

Kent County recorded 196 new cases of the virus and nine deaths.
