GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Public school students in Grand Rapids return to classrooms today for the first time in nearly a year.
Students will be following a hybrid system that will put them in classrooms for two days a week.
Leadriane Roby, the superintendent of Grand Rapids Public Schools, says virtual learning has caused grades to slip.
"You may not feel as comfortable asking a question of your teacher when your classmates are all on the same screen," Roby said.
