MI confirms 1,700 new COVID-19 cases

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming an additional 1,738 COVID-19 cases and 41 deaths.

The state labs tested at a positivity rate of 7.48 percent which is a slight increase compared to recent days.

However, the number of samples tested was the smallest so far this month.

Kent County confirmed 95 cases of COVID-19 and two deaths.
