LAKETON TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - The Muskegon Winter Sports Complex is hoping for help from Mother Nature.
Warm weather has made conditions sub-par this year, forcing closures.
"Everything we make out here is 100 percent natural," Dan Bonner, who is with the facility, told WOOD-TV. "We really can’t make any ice, groom the ski trails without any snow, without any freezing temperatures."
Colder, snowier weather is expected this weekend.
