MI confirms around 2,700 new COVID-19 cases

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is reporting 2,698 new cases of COVID-19.

The department also confirmed 139 deaths with 107 of the deaths coming from records checks.

State labs on Wednesday tested at a positivity rate of 6.26 percent, which is the lowest since October 24.

Kent County confirmed 181 new cases and eight deaths.
