MI announces almost 2,000 additional COVID-19 cases

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 1,994 COVID-19 cases.

The state is also announcing 100 deaths from COVID-19, 50 of which were found during review of death certificates.

State labs on Monday testes at a positivity rate of 7.16 percent.

Kent County confirmed 138 new cases and no additional deaths.
