An ad campaign running in Grand Rapids is working to generate more interested in the homeless population in Grand Rapids.
The ad runs pictures of homelessness and poverty while showing the accomplishments of the city of Grand Rapids.
Guiding Light and Mel Trotter Ministries are working to help individuals experiencing homelessness.
The groups helped set up a temporary shelter in downtown Grand Rapids for over 100 people.
The city is paying for the space through May.
