EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A new permanent city manager has been hired in East Grand Rapids after two nearly two years with someone serving in the role in an interim basis.
At the city commission's Jan. 4 meeting, they appointed Shea Charles to be the new city manager. He'll start in his new role in February.
