Firefighters are on the scene in Muskegon Monday evening after a fire broke out at an apartment building.
The incident is happening at an apartment building near East Laketon Avenue and South Getty Street.
The Muskegon Fire Department says people from eight of the 11 units were accounted for around 7 p.m.
Firefighters were able to search the bottom two floors but not the top floor.
