The Kalamazoo Coalition for the Homeless has set up a Go Fund Me to raise money for new tents for the homeless encampments in the city.
The page has raised over $11,000 so far.
Around 150 people live in the camps scattered around Kalamazoo.
The community members work together to try to make the best of the situation.
They say they would welcome new tents and appreciate everyone who has donated so far.
