People experiencing homelessness in Kalamazoo received free coats on Wednesday.
First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo says members gave out 70 coats to people living along the river.
The coats turn into sleeping bags.
The donations were made in connection with Helping Other People Exceed (H.O.P.E.) through Navigation and the Kalamazoo Urban Alliance.
