Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is declining a request for her to testify for the House Oversight committee on Michigan's election.
Benson sent a letter to chairman Matt Hall of Marshall saying she is concerned that participating will undermine the integrity of the election by amplifying debunked conspiracy theories and disproven claims.
Hall issued a statement saying he is disappointed that Benson claimed she would testify but is now backtracking on that statement.
