Pfizer's Global Supply manufacturing plant in Portage is helping with crucial manufacturing for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Workers at the plant have helped to produce the first doses of the vaccine that will be used across the country.
Shipping with be split, with UPS taking the East Coast and FedEx shipping to the West Coast.
If the FDA clear the vaccine for emergency use, the plant will begin distribution of the doses.
