Kent County Health Department Administrative Health Officer Dr. Adam London took part in a virtual Vaccination Town Hall meeting on Tuesday.
London says Michigan is expecting to receive upwards of 84,000 doses early on.
Officials are not sure how the doses received in the state will be distributed to counties.
Healthcare workers will be among the first to receive the vaccine.
Essential workers like teachers, school staff, child care workers and more would be next in line.
