Muskegon County funeral homes are struggling to keep up as COVID-19 deaths surged in the area.
Clock Funeral Home says they received 55 calls from families grieving loved ones, normally the receive 30 to 35 calls in a month.
Nearly half of those deaths were due to COVID-19.
In November, Muskegon County doubled the number of COVID-19 deaths.
