The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced 6,473 new COVID-19 cases and 84 deaths.
The state says 25 of the deaths were found during records checks.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer says she has a press conference scheduled for Thursday to talk about the virus.
Kent County saw another 851 cases and eight additional deaths.
