The old Grand Rapids Christian High School is undergoing a 23-million-dollar makeover by Madison Church and the Inner City Christian Federation.
The property was donated to the Madison Church in 2015.
The church spent two years working on how to maximize the use of space.
The system will use the space for affordable housing, an early childhood development center and community space.
