GRAND RAPID (WOOD-AM) - A wheelchair-bound man is dead after a house fire in Grand Rapids on Sunday.
Firefighters say they received reports about smoke rising from a home off Oakwood Avenue north of Knapp Street around 11 a.m.
Authorities have not said if the fire's origin was suspicious and are investigating.
Family members have identified the victim as Todd Cappendyk, 41.
