Kent ISD receiving $1 million in CARES Act funding

The Kent County Board of Commissioners is issuing Kent Intermediate School District $1 million to help with COVID-19 related expenses.

The funding was approved this week after the county received $115 million in federal CARES Act money.

In August, schools were given $2 million which equaled roughly $16 per student.
