A Grand Rapids mom used an Amazon wish list to provide school items for students in need.
Audrey Wendt found her son's teacher's list had been purchased within a few days but she worried about families who did not have the resources to buy supplies.
Wendt reached out to Buchanan Elementary to ask the teachers to put together a wish list of supplies they needed.
Within two days, people had purchased over $3,000 worth of school supplies for the school.
