Nineteen-year-old Jerell Lemar Chapman was arraigned on Monday in connection with a murder on Friday in Grandville.
He was charged with open murder, assault with intent to commit murder, discharging a weapon from a vehicle causing death, carrying a concealed weapon and felony use of a firearm. \
Chapman was arrested Saturday and was denied bond.
