Headlining his new March on Washington on Friday, TheRev. Al Sharpton delivered a fiery speech in which he demanded more legislative action to address police brutality and racial inequality in the country.
Sharpton told a large crowd of demonstrators gathered at the Lincoln Memorial, "Enough is enough," . The Lincoln Memorial is the same spot where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech 57 years to the day.
The event on the National Mall was announced by Sharpton earlier this summer when he eulogized George Floyd.
Sharpton used his speech Friday to call for Senate Republicans to take up a sweeping police reform bill that passed the House in June largely along party lines.
