1 Hurricane Laura is getting stronger. Right now, Laura is a category 2 hurricane with winds at 105 mph and will continue to get stronger as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico. It is expected to be a category 3 storm before landfall late tonight into Thursday morning.
2 Two people died and one person was wounded as shots were fired late Tuesday in Kenosha during the third night of riots.
