Charities in W MI say they need more federal aid

U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson visited West Michigan and heard from local charities that they need more federal aid to help with the Coronavirus pandemic.

Carson started at Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids before heading to Gospel Ministries in Kalamazoo to meet with Rep. Fred Upton.

Local leaders in Kalamazoo shared concern about evictions and more reliance on social services as the pandemic continues.
