BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A 42-year-old Calhoun County man is facing charges following a vehicle pursuit late Saturday night through Calhoun and Kalamazoo Counties.
Police say the vehicle turned down a dead end road off Beckley Road, and once the deputy went to get out of the patrol vehicle, the suspect went into reverse and struck the patrol car followed by trying to run over the deputy. After the patrol car was hit a second time, the pursuit continued into Kalamazoo County, where the suspect was eventually arrested.
