Michigan's Dragon is envisioned to be a 47 mile hiking and biking trail through Newaygo and Mecosta Counties. Right now 6 miles of the trail is open.
Much of the trail runs along the Hardy Dam Pond.
A $200,000 grant from Consumers Energy will help complete the project.
