GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The Grand Rapids Police Department is said to be investigating multiple overnight shots fired calls.
Investigators say, at this stage, it's not clear if the incidents late Wednesday and early Thursday are related.
The first call in from Wealthy Street and Diamond Avenue around 10:20 p.m. Cruisers were also seen near Eastern Avenue and Thomas Street.
A shooting victim walked into a hospital an hour later.
Another shots fired call came in from Temple Street and Butler Avenue around 12:35 a.m.
The calls came just hours after the city reported its 19th homicide of the year.
