A group of protesters were in Allendale Township on Saturday to demand the removal of a statue that depicts a union soldier, a confederate soldier and a slave.
The statue is located at the Veterans Garden of Honor at 68th avenue and Lake Michigan Drive.
The Allendale board will vote to keep or remove the statue 7pm Tuesday.
