Cuts to liquor prices and cocktails-to-go sales approved by Michigan Senate

LANSING, Mich. (WOOD ) — Under new bills overwhelmingly approved by state Senate on Wednesday, Michigan restaurants and bars would be allowed to sell cocktails and other liquor for pickup or delivery and would see a temporary cut in state liquor prices

The bill had numerous supporters that argued legislation would help bars and restaurants amid the coronavirus pandemic, noting that some already can sell unopened beer and wine to go if they have a certain license.
