Currently beaches are open on the Lake Michigan shoreline but may close if social distancing is not being followed.
On Sunday, the Michigan DNR and Grand Haven had to close down the state park parking lot because of large crowds not practicing social distancing.
Muskegon, Saugatuck, and South Haven do not plan on closing their beaches at the current time.
