Mother Urges Vaccinations As Coronavirus Impacts Immunization Rates

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A local mother is urging parents to get their children vaccinated.

Child immunizations are down 15.3 percent, due in part to the coronavirus pandemic.

McNally and her husband Sean lost their three month old daughter Francesca in 2012 due to whooping cough.

"When we lost her, we just couldn’t believe that it happened," Veronica Valentine McNally told WOOD-TV.
