LIVE COVERAGE AT 3PM: Whitmer to update on stay at home order, COVID-19

LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — We've learned that today at 3pm Gov. Whitmer will hold another briefing on the Michigans response to COVID-19.

During the briefing, Whitmer will be joined by the state’s chief medical executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, Patrick Devlin of Michigan Building Trades and Barton Malow CEO Ryan Maibach.

On Thursday, the Governor extended Michigan’s state of emergency declaration through May 28. It's important to note that state of emergency order is separate from her stay-at-home order, which is still in effect through May 15.
