MONTAGUE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - The Michigan Greenhouse Growers Council is urging Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to allow retail greenhouses to reopen next month.
In a letter sent to the governor, the organization outlined a plan aimed at keeping customers and employees safe.
Retail greenhouses were not considered to be essential businesses in the governor's executive order, forcing a closure.
