Perrigo Donating $616,000 to West Michigan Organizations in COVID Crisis

Like Perrigo, many organizations are critical to the communities and families who depend on them as a vital resource. Nonprofits that supply food to at risk children, elderly and neighborhoods, are in need of funding to respond to the growing number of families who have recently found themselves in need of support:

Donation Totals: $400,000 in funding and $216,000 in product donations forCOVID-19 food relief:

$200,000– Kid’s Food Basket

Serve more than 7,000 kids a day across Kent, Ottawa, Allegan counties

$50,000– Allegan County Food Pantry Collaborative

Food relief for low income families in Allegan County

$50,000 and $16,000 in-kind product – Meals on Wheels

Food relief and home delivery for region’s most vulnerable senior citizens

$200,000 in-kind product – Feeding America West Michigan

Shelf-stable pediatric nutritional drinks for food pantries

$100,000 – American Red Cross

National campaign to increase critically low blood donations
