GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Both directions of US-131 in Grand Rapids were scheduled to be closed Tuesday to replace a utility pole. As of 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, the closures have not yet happened.
Consumers Energy spokesperson Roger Morgenstern said there was an equipment failure on a pole at 5th Street and Scribner Avenue. The line crosses over US-131.
